Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

    Bright and quite visable.

Simple to use. First push gives red flash second push red steady third, green steady forth off.

Magnetic base. (good to keep it on horizontal surfaces only)

    Compact.

    Cons:

A little heavy on the batteries.

Magnet not real strong, wont hold onto a vertical surface.

Rubber seal on button not great, half out on one.

    OtherThoughts:

Current with fresh set of AA alkalines

Red flash around 400-500mA (digital meter fluctuating)

    Red steady 900mA

    Green steady 350 mA

Haven't timed it till flat, but current does drop off as batteries go down so its not regulated.

Its total length is approx 260mm

and the clear bit is about 160mm

    Diameter approx 38mm

I bought 2 got one that's red only with a torch in the end instead of green battern.

be careful screwing battery cover in not to cross thread it.

    Bottomline:

Good for what I wanted (guiding planes in, in Aus, now that we can't have LASERs LoL), guiding traffic at incidents.
