Bright IR light with wide throw. They are slightly visible to the naked eye, so I can tell that they are on. I am able to use them for lighting for infra-red CCTV systems. None. I have been using these in installations for a couple of years and they are all working well. No complaints. I do have these heat sunk pretty well and am under driving them ... Read more

This powelled replaces 20-40 5mm leds 850nM and can be used with a reflector wich give a trow for NV Equipement but also for videocams and other ir sensitive instruments. For me it is important for enhancing gen 1 tubes and make them usefuul for greater distance wich is almost impossible with the normal 5mm leds. Heat dissipation must be taken care ... Read more

There is nothing to say, this is excellent very "bright" IR LED, good for night vision, security cameras e.t.c. Not a con actually, but wrong description of the item caused to Me, to fry one of the lEDs - this is NOT 3.5V 350mA, but 1.7V 700mA LED! So be careful with this! DX, please fix the description, otherwise, people won’t be able to ... Read more

Really bright IR led. I used one of these for night vision in video door phone - it works extremely well, much brighter than IR LEDs that were in call panel. Not a con actually but wrong description - this is NOT 3.5V 350mA but 1.7V 700mA! I ordered 350mA drivers for these LEDs, and at 350mA they are not bright at all. Had to wire 2 drivers in parallel ... Read more

    - It emits in Infra Red. - At 350mA there is just a weak red glow. - Comes on a standard size star for easy mounting into a project or flashlight. - Seems to fit Luxeon and SSC optics. - Good build quality. - Only 1 watt - I can see its glow even from the street (I know where to look though). I paired this with a 350mA driver (sku 13555) and a collimator ... Read more
