  • Surefire better look over its should

There is no dimming, flashing, or SOS modes. There is just one mode: bright..., blinding. Imagine yourself in the proverbial tactical situation clicking madly to get the brightest beam on the subject. Whoever thought of including the flashing and SOS modes in what are commonly called tactical flashlights can best be compared to priest and nuns planning sex education lessons.

    'Couldn't find a con.

It is gladdening to see something practical for a change. A "feature laden" flashlight is not necessarily the best. Everybody tries to wrestle the market from Surefire. Adding modes to a flash light isn't the way to do it. More modes only means more frustrations.

This flashlight is quite an achievement for Ultrafire (I sure would like to see flashlight manufacturers get away from -fire in their names). It is a twin of the Surefire C3 separated at birth at a fraction of the cost. Unlike the C3, the C1 will stand on its end.
