  • Good home thermometer

    posted by aliengrey on 09/14/2010

    Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    -Good viewable display in a small case

    -Thin an light, may be attached with double faced glued tape on any surface

    -Show indoor and outdoor temp and time

    -compact external sensor that you can pass trough the window frame or a small hole in the wall.

    -Poor build quality gives it a cheap look;

    -Buttons to adjust time and change temp mode are hard to operate;

    -No internal light;

    Although it's not a beauty gadget, it do its job, and is well accurated. The external sensor should be put on shadow, or you may expect 50ºC on display in a 25º spring time.

    It's cheap and works good. Low consumption indicates that you can leave it allways ON for many months after replace batteries, as a wrist watch.
