Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
- Easy to use
- Takes 4 standard AA batteries
- Really bad build quality
- Lacks screw for the lid to the battery cover
- Part to cover the wiring and on/off-button on the inside was entirely loose. Which turned out to be a good thing, because A) the on/off button didn't work, and B) the wiring was soldered on so it actually short circuited the batteries!
- Loose USB cable just barely attached by the inner cables.
- No voltage adjustment
With a soldering iron, a strip to fasten the USB cable and some epoxy glue I easily fixed all problems. All these things are so simple, I do believe they could _easily_ have done it at the factory!
It's worth it's weight in plastic, barely as is. With a little fixing and patience it's usable.
