    Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:

    * Cheap
    * No soldering required
    * Antennas included
    * Excellent build quality
    * Charging from USB port (cable not included)

    Cons:

    * Transmit power is low. Even cheap smartphones overcome it in the city with dense network coverage, The legendary Nokia 3310 don't even notice it.
    * No manual at all. Thank FSM, I have some lab equipment to find out how to power it optimally.
    * GSM band antenna is inefficient. I replaced it with handmade dipole, and that one impressed even N3310.

    OtherThoughts:

    Heat dissipation is a topic for thought.

    Bottomline:

    In city conditions it is really useful within 0.5-1.5m. Enough for usual car, but not enough even for minivan.

    Power requirements found in my tests: 5V 500mA. USB port fits it.
