  • Nice copy, but not as tough as the original.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

    Cheap.

    Lot of professional photo features.

    Nice finish.

    Light weight (1.8kg).

Was able to take some abuse.

Quick release plate compatible with Manfrotto.

    Cons:

Leg angle adjustment in on leg broke after abuse.

Raising centre column gave some flex.

Not as slick nor sturdy as original Manfrotto, it is only a visual copy.

Spirit level not level at all.

1.5 meter is a bit too low for me.

    OtherThoughts:

With a ball head it is not for video use.

Legs can have three different angles, but when parallell to the ground the weak adjustment levers may break if abused.

Since raising centre column will increase flex I am tempted to cut it, as it interferes with ground shots.

I may end up giving it away, as I can't use more than one tripod at the same time.

    Bottomline:

I trust my original Manfrotto, but will probably always be a bit insecure with this.

Great value for money, but buy the original if you need it and can afford it.
