Needed a good and big backup CF card for my Sony DSLR. I already owned a 2GB Extreme IV as a primary card, but I wanted some extra storage. It is a 4GB CF card. Fairly fast. About twice as fast as my other sandisk card. Cheaper now. Good deal. Was more expensive when I bought it, but is a good deal now. It uses a bit mroe power than my sandisk compact flash card, which caused it to fail on heavy formats with a lower power reader. Once I switched to a high power reader everything was ok.... Read more
I bought this card together with an CF to IDE adapter (SKU 09304) to replace a hard drive in an old notebook. It worked perfectly, the system performance seems greatly improved. No cons at all! :)
I only needed one, but I suggest for people that use these cards in cameras to buy multiple units, the price is only insignificantly higher than the 2 GB ... Read more
This memory card comes in retail packaging. It is a lot faster than my 1gb PQI card. I took over 20 photos in burst mode and camera never said waiting for mem card. WOW the only con is I only ordered 1. Buy 2 of these. I wish I had of bought another 1 at the same time. Although watch the prices as DX says, memory price is vilotile. it is now $2.41 cheaper ...
