Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:

Works well with WaveShare Port107V board (SKU148519), STM32F107VCT chip. I installed Keil MDK of the most recent version 4.72a, it performed firmware upgrade of the adapter successfully. So on, uploading, step-by-step debugging, viewing memory and variable values - all these functions work.

    Cons:

    1. My laptop has both USB2 and USB3 ports, and this adapter works in USB2 ports only. 2. Adapter should be always powered if connected to development board (even if you do not program/debug currently), otherwise the microcontroller does not execute a code. This is not a big issue, but you can't plug-unplug the adapter if you have not enough USB2 ports and need to connect some other equipment. 3. Strong smell of plastic - gone away in several days only.

    OtherThoughts:

It has other connectors (OCDS, ST) routed on PCB but not soldered in - see the photo. No idea if these work but you may try.

    Bottomline:

Great value for money. Would recommend to friends. Would also like to have one that supports SWIM for STM8 chips.
