Works as stated!! Good regulation Quality workmanship Compact size for boost regulator heat issues as above? Not obvious where to put the negative battery wire - this must not go on the LED (-) as shown in one of the pictures above but on the outer rim conductor on the battery side. Is this why some ... :- 5 modes - comes with lead wires (red, black) - HIGH, MED, LOW, STROBE, SOS modes - Clean and neat layout Q1 burned after a continous use of about 45min. After that, the boost-circuit doesnt work anymore. Current-regulation still works. You just CANT heatsink this thing properly. Q1 is not as high ... Read more

Current-regulation still works. You just CANT heatsink this thing properly. Q1 is not as high as the other components which makes ... Read more

Seems to pump out a lot of current on high, medium is still bright with a CREE R2 and for once low is really a low. Build quality seems good (I soldered on it and it still works :-)) I don't care for SOS and strobe. Not a big con though. I don't know how well the regulation works, there is a lot of loss ... Nice high mode, very bright, pulls 1.4A from 1 16340. Nice medium and low modes too. Low is very low about 50mA and medium is somewhere right in between. Has memory as advertised, returns to same mode you left it on (instead of next mode which would be really annoying). LED leads came pre-attached. Circuit ... Read more
