Various Light emitting sources to Musical speaker systems to even couple of computer accessories... All these DC 12V appliances can be used / charged using this adaptor.. The local country convertor pin keeps coming out from this adaptor. Heavy to use and carry I charge upto 4 devices with this adaptor. Long cable allow me to be flexible in my usage. Good Charging Adaptor... A must for everyone who have multiple DC 12V devices -- all in 1 charger for them... Thumps Up !!!!

This adaptor is perfect to replace a broken one. I bought to replace a Scientific Atlanta DCP2100 cablemodem adaptar and works like a charm. I read the specifications and matches with this one, and does the job without problems. In my Country (Argentina) this adaptors cost 20 dollars, so I decided to wait a few weeks and buy it in DX. None so far. Works perfect and its not hot like the original adaptor that I replaced Good quality and good price. Good size too, its tiny, but do the job perfect! Buy it!

Great price. Good quality product. Purchased 5 of them and they are all working fine. Output voltage seems to be stable, and the wire is long too. Wire is a bit thin for an adapter rated for 1A. There's no way it's thick enough for 1A current in my opinion. However it's perfect for my use. I'd 5V...

There's no way it's thick enough for 1A current in my opinion. However it's perfect for my use. I'd really like the 5V version of the same or similar adapter. DX, please consider. I'd purchase again if I need more of those. Also recommend this product for people who are looking for 12V AC adapters for less than 1A current.

If you are looking to use this at or near the specified 1000mA, look elsewhere (sadly, DX seems to have no other option :( ) For DIY types, the plug is of approximately Adaptaplug Type M specifications (or, atleast, that socket size accepts this plug snugly and provides a solid electrical connection) As tested, my configuration only draws 650mA, far below the manufacturer's specifications. Even allowing for peaks or deviation from Ohmic laws etc, this guarantees that the maximum continuous current output IS NOT 1000mA. I hoped to use this adapter to run two 390mA (specified, only about 340mA as tested in my configuration) LED light bars (sku.11303).
It failed this task :(
Only use this to power devices with a draw below 650mA continuous. (I suggest nothing about 340mA as that is all I can attest to working)

I'm using for more than one month and no issues. Very stable, small and cheap. Same product in Brazil costs 5 X more than this one. I'd recommend. Actually I never tested some around 1A to determine if it's really capable to deliver it, but so far, I'm happy with the unit.
Check the AC connector, since it comes with the USA model.

This does it's what it's supposed to do, to provide power. I used this on sku.2764 and works fine. The wire is a little bit thin, seems like the wire would break if there are a little stress being put on the wire.

Quality is not that good. Plastic socket part seems cheaply made. The wire length is not that long, around 4 feet. This is connector has a positive center and negative outside. If you need power with a 5.4mm connector, get it. This is decent 12 volt 1000mAh power supply.

-Pretty cheap (and small) compared to alternatives -The cord is a little thin, but then again, I've been using this to power a small segment of a 509 white led strip (found on DX) for an under-cabinet kitchen light. Considering its location and that I've had no problems of consistent use, this is more of an "FYI" than a con. Pretty good quality for the price and certainly works (so far!) I've not tested near the 1A output yet, but close to it enough that the power adapter gets a little warm (not hot).

Pretty consistent voltage - around 12.15V The prongs are not foldable, and they protrude quite a bit. So storage is sometimes troublesome I bought it as a power source for my LED light, but ended up finding a variable-voltage adapter in my cabinet. so, now I have virtually no use for it. Buy it if you have an application for it. It's cheap enough to even cut loose the wires, and build your own customized power line.
