Great little adapter, automatically gets set up on my Windows 8.1 PC (no CD needed). Does also include a CD, but never used it. Build is of a solid quality, the USB cable isn't thin and flimsy, and connects fine. Highly recommended

First impression is great, packaging is very good. I connected it with my linux machine (raspberry pi), works as expected. Speed is ok. Doesn't requre driver installation, works out of box.

Pros: Comes in packaging, looks OK quality, plug and play - recognized instantly be my win 8.1 tablet. Comes with driver disc for linux, mac and windows (wasn't needed but always handy to have). Little flashing LED to indicate activity. Cons: No real cons, seems to work well. USB 2.0

As a Zenbook owner without the accessories, I needed the USB 2 RJ45 adapter "in case of". This one works exactly as expected, out of the box (even if an 80mm CD is included in the box - probably drivers) on Windows 8. Maybe not tough enough for a daily driver, but it is still a very nice product... Read more

If you require cabled access to your home network and you have no standard Ethernet connection on your laptop, this USB 2 alternative is very practical. This allows you to plug a network cable into an usb port. I required it as video streaming through wifi posed a problem. With this I managed to... Read more

Could not be easier to use. Works out of the box with my Rasbperry Pi Model B+. Have not done any major stuff with this yet. Acts as a simple network bridge. The LED is useful I guess.. It does get a bit warm, but far from any dangerous heat (around 35 degrees Celsius). But I guess I will be I... Read more

Very useful 100 Mbps adapter for me. I did not install any drivers to Linux Mint 13 & 15, just plugged the adapter to USB and it was working ok instantly. "lsusb" shows following information about the adapter: Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0b95:772b ASIX Electronics Corp. AX88772B
