    Pros: works well, you get the additional 5+ extra pin, tiny size its easy to handle it, it cames with dupont cables, it cames with an anti-static bag Cons: you have to be careful with the usb plug, no led for recive, the price is not so cheap, shipment was to long about 2 moths OtherThoughts: its nice to have a virtual com port to play with it,...     Pros: Works out of the box with both Windows and Linux. You get additional +5v and +3.3v rails for free! Supports non-standard rs-232 speeds. Can handle RS-232 directly for RX.     Pros: On Linux works out of the box, as /dev/ttyUSBx - (x is number of particular device). Provides 3.3 and 5V. Has LED for power and transmit. Cons: I am a bit concerned about braking usb plug away from board. Some protection would be good. No recive LED. OtherThoughts: I bought this for pic18f45XXX debugging purposes.
