Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

On Linux works out of the box, as /dev/ttyUSBx - (x is number of particular device). Provides 3.3 and 5V. Has LED for power and transmit.

    Cons:

I am a bit concerned about braking usb plug away from board. Some protection would be good. No recive LED.

    OtherThoughts:

I bought this for pic18f45XXX debugging purposes. Only tested it on arduino and it works like it should.

    Bottomline:

Simple usb to ttl(5 and 3.3V) serial interface. If you are hobby-home-device-hacker this is must have. It is cheap and works! No need for max3232 or max323. Newer pc doesn't have serial interface this is perfect solutin.
