Pros: Easy to use, Good price. Cons: Front LEDs are too bright. Allows you to extract the audio signal from a HDMI connection to connect to other audio devices, i used to connect my Sattelite TV Receiver and PC HDMI outputs to a basic Home Theater sistem which didnt have HDMI inputs.

Perfect! Used it to connect my Raspberry Pi to my TV and home cinema. My home cinema hasn't got any hdmi ports, so audio wasn't available on my home cinema. Using this device I was able to get perfect image and audio! The only con I can think of are the bright lights on the front of the device. I... Read more

The price is not too cheap but not too expensive. Very easy to use. Plug and play. Power supply is dead after one year and blue led... Read more

Simple installation. Comes with wall adapter. Just plug it in. No setup required. The remote comes with the battery installed. Just tear off the seal from the battery lid to start using it. Front LED lights are much too bright. I had to cover them with dark tape in order not to get glare in the a... Read more

PERFECT. I needed this to connect XBox360, PS3, and HDDVD to TV with one HDMI input and with an analog amp which happened to have an optical audio input! This product comes with a remote you don't need to use. It automatically turns on when you power up an input. Automatically switches to a newly... Read more

Extends your A/V system's HDMI ports, converts HDMI audio to TOSLink / coaxial / analog for use with older receivers and home theater systems. Operates from remote control for maximum lazyness. :-) None I can think of. Maybe the price (DX.com-wise) is a bit high, but it's worth the money. Almost... Read more

This is the gadget I have always needed to complete my Home Entertainment System as I had wished. The build quality of the item is excellent, the criticism by many other... Read more

Worked fine with xbox 360 and cable tv, 5.1 audio worked 100% Problems outputing 5.1 sound from apple tv and playstation 3. Sometimes it looses the image handshake, and the only way to get it back is restarting the box. I a... Read more

4 HDMI inputs and a redirect to TOSLINK and S/P-DIF AND analog for sound. This would, theoretically, allow you to switch HDMI decives without switching inputs on your 5.1 receiver, if it has no native HDMI support. It even allows you to connect an old-fashioned analog Stereo system. Brilliant! if... Read more
