Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:

It is loaded with everything someone might need from a tablet except TV. Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G are very fast and strong, has two SIM card slots. Screen is clear with protective screen. Performance is good, size and weight is nice. Good tablet for money.

    Cons:

Considering the cons and comparing with Freelander PD20-D which only lacks of internal SIM GSM/3G support, the price difference is high for this tablet. Comes only with US plug charger, ask DX to send you adapter for your needs. Under normal use it sometimes gets a little slow especially when sliding screen. GPS is fast but with medium accuracy, it's about 5m/15ft off course. Screen is clear but old simple LCD and not bright at all, forget outdoor use. Cannot disable sounds/vibration when typing. Battery is a low performer even at standby.

    OtherThoughts:

Mine came with dirty box and accessories, had two seals one ontop the other, it was defenately opened before. There was another serial number on box and stickers, another different serial number on tablet. Also screen had two white finger size spots like someone had pushed hard the screen with his fingers. Finally, battery dies in minutes, I have asked DX to replace the tablet. Consider comparing/choosing Freelander PD20-D, SKU 166589, it is better and cheaper than this one.

    Bottomline:

Freelander Model PD20-D is noticable faster, more accurate, has brighter screen and better battery life. They are different tablets even if they look like the same. Generally PD20-D, SKU 166589, is the best tablet for someone who does not need internal GSM/3G SIM support. Just keep in mind that some PD20-D do need to root boot (to fix hosts) to make it able to connect with Google services.
