Absolute an eye catcher. Will be the main event in a party no mather whatever trix your dog or cat can do. You'll also feel a sense of achievement when you have finished it. Absolute an eye catcher. Will be the main event in a party no mather whatever trix your dog or cat can do. You'll also feel a sense of achievement when you have finished it. Everyone in your family will love it once it works, and you for building it. - The price is too much for such cheap build quality. - The plastic parts are weak, some parts will break while assembling the rail. - Instructions are in Chinese, only partly and poor translated English. The rail is really hard and your fingers will eventually suffer if you cut it with a scissor. Not really good with a cutter or knife ether. (I used a tube cutter.) I knew the parts was fragile and only broke a couple while building it. Still it felt like I got too few parts to make it firm enough. The manufacturer should sell spare parts, which is also good for those who want to expand their Spacerail freely. I spend a whole weekend building this. Have own it for some month now. I spend like 5-10 mins a day maintaining it. It will only get 100% perfect for a short time as it always looses its form somewhere. But it's OK. Others maintain an aquarium, I have this Spacerail. Others have complained about its stability that the ball constantly fall off the lift. Well it up to how you have build it, not the rails fault. A tip is that you have to slow down the ball before it ends at the lift. Mine does and it can go for hours before the 1st ball falls. Still... Do not attempt to build this if you're short tempered and lack basic knowledge in physics.

So nice to look at. Almost as nice as an aquarium. - The manual is hard to understand, lots of bad translations, good thing they have great pictures.

- Some pieces don't fit, you have to mod some yourself.
- The motorized elevator sounds a lot. Even those in the next room can hear still the door is closed.
- The elevator is not stable. When the balls enters at the bottom some at the top will fall. As I wrote in the cons, the bad quality plastic doesn't make it up for the price. You need to mod it with a cutter to make it fit. I broke many of the rail holders while trying to mount with the rail. Now I lack some and it's really annoying as this makes the rail less stable. Also the white rail is really a small and hard tube of some kind. You can cut it with a scissor but your fingers will eventually suffer. It's recommended to have a special cutter. The manual is bad, didn't help much. I ended up building after the pictures instead. This seems impossible at first but it's just another challenge. Be prepared with a lot of patience and above all... Time. The reward is a really amazing eyecandy, big one too. Takes up your whole TV room table. Also it's possible to run all 5 balls with reasonable stability, despite that I lack some rail holders. You just need to be smart. Have the rail slow down the speed at the exit to the elevator, so that the ball smoothly enters it.
I have owned this one for almost a month now and it has become one of the family member. While my wife is watering the flowers, I have a daily maintenance on the rail. Takes only 5 min, and it will cheer you up for the rest of the day.

* They give enough rail. (I made some mistakes and I still had rail left when the spacerail was finished. * some mechanisms aren't that good. I had to adjust some things: the poles that hold the rail are very loose and don't fit the platform perfectly. Put a little tape at the bottom to make the poles thicker and the stay better on their place.
* The marbles sometimes fall out of the spiral-elevator when the elevator isn't 100 percent straight. * When I let 5 marbles roll, the rails shake a little bit, so that some marbles fall out (because the rail isn't stable enough) They should have made it a little bit more stable. It is nice to watch and fun to make, but we bought it to let it on all the time, but that doesn't work. At least every 5 minutes something goes wrong. (a marble falls out, the rail needs some adjusting, ...)
