Pros: Small and cheap atmega328 board. Pins can be soldered by yourself, which is in many projects a pro. Programmed with FTDI (SKU 228307) without problem (Note: the Cirus FTDI must be connected up-side-down, if the 90deg Pins are soldered) Cons: For advanced users (soldering, external Very good... The pin description makes this board like a mini Arduino Uno or Duemilanove. It has 2 LEDs: one for power and one connected to pin 13 to demonstrate the built-in Blink demo. The maximum input voltage of 12V is probably a strict limit: a faulty adapter ran the board for 45 minutes at 15.5V when of... Read more

It is very easy to use and there is a lot of information in the web about this particular microcontroller and this board. It is perfect if you need to use it in a small project Soldering the pins in the sides can be difficult for a novice. Nothing that a little bit of caution cannot solve. There... Read more

The board is assembled well. The design is better than "official Arduino mini pro": 1) the reverse-polarity protection diode (crowbar) is present. 2) the "RAW" terminal has a serial inductor which contributes to reliability of the controller, especially when switching large .... Read more

The board is assembled well. The design is better than "official Arduino mini pro": 1) the reverse-polarity protection diode (crowbar) is present. 2) the "RAW" terminal, which can be used to power small peripherals (5VDC LDO can supply up to 150mA load) has a serial inductor.... Read more
