Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
This case has a hard back shell for the ipad plus a soft fake leather cover for the front. The ridges in the inside cover hold it up so you can use it on a desktop in portrait or landscape orientation. It looks great. It has a magnet like a smart cover to automatically turn off the screen when you close it. All of the ports are accessible.
The roundness of the ipad's back (and the shell that forms the back of the case) and the low profile of the ridges inside the cover cause a problem when you use the last ridge for maximum tilt angle: When you press on the ipad, it easily slips out of the ridge and falls down (backwards).
The apple logo is visible through the hole in the back... in case you're not sure if it's an ipad??? This could be a problem if you don't want other people to know it's an ipad.
I like how it looks and the rotating feature is very handy.
