Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week
It does most of what its suposed to. I bought it together with an SSC P7, which it is "designed" to work good with. Together with the P7 this provided powerful light, but it could have provided even more.
I measured the output to be 2400mA, not 2800. When i connected it to the SSC P7, i got a reading of only 1,3A...
Together with 3V, this gave a power of only 3,9W.
This is less than half of the 10W claimed potential of the P7 (from SSC online data sheet).
It also makes an annoying, high frequent sound when it is in use.
Contains no information sheet or data sheet.
Considering the fact that my batteries are able to easily provide 6A and 6V (36W), it feels like a waste of power.
I suppose i will get it back in battery life...
I don't know why it gives such low amps when connected, so if anyone knows a reason or a solution, please post in the forum.
A good driver, i suppose, but not as good as i expected it to be, since it was made to work well with the P7. May very well be my own fault...
