Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:

-good driver for a SSC P7 led emitter

-variable input voltage (up to 8.4 volts), meets most of the needs for DIY projects with SSC P7 or MCE emitters

    Cons:

-current measured at tailcap is around 1.2 amps at fully charged trustfire 18650s, which means that the current delivered to the emitter is around 2.4 amps, and that is below value stated in the product description

    OtherThoughts:

I have bought this driver for a dual 18650 ssc p7 aurora flashlight because the original one went fried (i suppose). The original driver delivered around 2.6 amps to the emitter and this one doesn't (only 2.4 amps). But, if you need a good replacement driver, this is a good choice.

    Bottomline:

Good value for the money.. For now
