As an Electronic Eng I sometimes want to do something at home. This solder wire is fine for this purpose. Today most factories do not use lead any more so they use tin soldering wires only.
It has eutectic composition so it has low melting point.
0.8 mm is a bit thin for general purpose (wire soldering for radio control models, etc) but is perfect for electronic soldering. However tin has higher melting point and less suitable for cheap home equipment.
So I'm glad to have this wire, it's best for home use.
