Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:

Under Windows XP, it gets recognized as an USB to ATA/SATA bridge automatically, no need to install drivers.

I bought it to easily install other OS'es into my Asus EeePC netbook, and it works better than expected.

My DVD-ROM gets recognized in the BIOS, so I could install Ubuntu on my netbook without using an USB memory stick.

    Cons:

No cons so far. It works as expected, the built quality seems good.

It doesn't come with a European main cable, but it's no problem, as it uses a standard computer power connector.

    OtherThoughts:

    No other thoughts.

    Bottomline:

Very useful for connecting DVD drives to netbook, it gets recognized by the BIOS.

Could be useful for other porpuses, though.
