  • Small issues to an otherwise great rig.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

Can be adapted to multiple tasks such as shoulder mount or low slung.

    Greatly stabilizes camera operation.

Uses the 15mm rail system so other accs can be attached.

Roll bar is pre drilled for 1/4 bolts to mount other accs such as an LED lamp, or can be removed easily if it gets in the way.

The rear grip has a 1/4 socket to mount weights if you feed it is needed.

The whole rig is very light so it does not seem to add much to the weight of the camera.

Screws can not quite be nipped up tight enough that you -know- it wont move. Check everything before you shoot.

Although it can be converted to different styles, it does not happen quickly, allow at least 2 minutes to change stuff over and recheck those bolts for tightness.

Quick release mount would be handy, but not hard to attach.

I needed to tighten the rear post extension with a phillips screwdriver so that it would not rotate in its housing.

This is my first rig so I'm just feeling my way here. The hardware could be upgraded with a trip to the hardware store to replace the plastic knobs, But I will see how it goes

At this price you could buy two and have each configured differently!
