A Fantastic little emergency gadget
Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day
Pros:quality case; super accurate reception of FM & SW signals; Having the ability to charge via solar, crank, or ac adaptor is really remarkable; Ability to switch over to alkaline batteries also a big PLUS. I LOVE this radio.
Cons:volume dial button could be larger and better located; although the LED flashlight is included I am not so sure about the usefulness of the audible alarm or dim flashing red led.
OtherThoughts:It is amazing that there is also a built-in flashlight!
Bottomline:One of the best items I have purchased from DX this year. I would recommend this to friends and family!
