Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

It works great and looks nicely built. Comes with a plastic box (cheap plastic but it's not a con for me), and a second battery is included in the box.

The tool itself is made from some kind of stainless steel and looks strong!

Digits are big enough, and can show measurements in inches and milimeters. Pressing the unit button translates the measure, you don't have to check twice to get mm then inches or inches then mm.

    Cons:

There is no HOLD button, this could have been a nice feature in car application for example, where even a locking screw may not prevent the tool to change position and reading.

    OtherThoughts:

You should recalibrate the caliper everytime you use it, just as a precaution.

The tool turns itself ON when you start moving the "head".

It can measure up to 154.60mm (6.086 in).

There is a DATA OUT "plug" on the head, but I don't know how to use it and the included manual doesn't tell much about it...

    Bottomline:

It's cheap but looks well made, does its job... You can buy this :)
