Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

Very inexpensive compared to standard hearing aids.

Low background noise and no static that you get with other models.

    Good quality of sound amplification.

    Good level of amplification available.

    Seems well built.

Can be used in either ear.

Ear buds fit well and come in 3 sizes.

    Cons:

Obviously does not have the hardware to limit sound spikes if you have a soft sound then a loud one, it's just a straight amplification, but it is very inexpensive, so this isn't really expected.

None yet. We'll see how the batteries do.

    OtherThoughts:

I bought another model and this one is far superior. It's $2 more, but has the clarity and amplification that the other one lacks. The other one has static when there is no sound to pick up and a lower maximum volume level.

    Bottomline:

Well worth the money. My father breaks them all the time. A normal hearing aid costs hundreds of dollars. I can buy these and replace them 20+ times and still not be at the cost of one single normal one.
