This DOT sight is presicely what you'll want for your .22 airgun! The quality is great compared to the incredible low price. First of all: this sight is NOT recommended for airgun hunting (if your country even allow it) I think this sight was designed with low-powered airgun at practice shooting in mind; And it works like a pride! This sight only got 1 shade of red, instead of 5 of both red and green like the other scopes and sights on this page, but you won't need the "luxury". It got delivered with batteries included, and i turned it on right away. The dot seemed just about right, but after some shaking to simulate recoil it appered a little red line just under the dot. (I'll post pictures later) Mine came with a "not-so-nice" attemt of a paint-job on the right side, but did't create any issues (Obviously). It feels a bit cheap when holding it, due too it's mostly plastic. As mentioned earlier, it came a red line under the dot after some shaking. It is slightly annoying and confusing, but that probably because of my short temper! When you mount it too your gun-rail, you don't really get it properly stable. I wen't to a local sports-store and mounted it on about 10 different airguns just to see if it was just my gun who had a bad rail. But no, it was the sight that was the problem. Both because of that mount-thingy, and it's made entirely out of plastic, i am not quite sure wheter it's gonna fall off or not when fired. (I haven't gotten to try it yet since i live "urbanly" i'll have to wait till i get to my cabin). But what i'm almost certain of is that it won't handle the recoil of a High-powered airgun. Well, atleast not over 100 shots. As just about any scope or red DOT sight on DX: You get what'cha pay for! I ordered this sight just as a "back-up" for my 3-9*42 reflex scope. (Also bought at DX) overall, this is a great scope! I suggest buying about 3 or 5 of these so that you have a couple of them in a drawer whenever one of them should faint. And as mentioned a bit further up: i'll post pictures when i get the oppurtunity. Forgot to mention! The "up-down" wheel at the back is screwed so tightly upon delivery, that you have To use a screw-driver to get it loose! Also, the sight is bigger than itappear on the picture, about the size of your iphone, just a whole lot thicker.
