  • BLAST those trucks so they don't smash into you.

low price when compared to products that use a bottle of compressed air to blast the horn.
ALWAYS ready when you need it in an emergency. No batteries to go flat, no compressed air storage tank to lose pressure.
    It is REALLY loud. :)

no installation instructions, no bicycle mounting brackets. PVC air hose tends to kink and crimp shut making less sound level when plunger is pressed (a rubber hose would be better).
Weighs a little bit more than some other alternatives.
It is SO loud that it might badly startle nearby pedestrians. Suggest fitting a simple bell AS WELL for non emergency use to be polite to other people.

You'll need two of those plastic bicycle mounts like SKU 8274 "Universal Bicycle Mount" to mount the metal plunger cannister, and a hose clamp to mount the plastic air horn.
If the PVC plastic air hose is kinked after it is installed, the plunger button is harder to push down and the volume level (loudness) of sound is less.
To prevent the air hose from getting kinked or squashed, turn the air outlet nozzle from the cannister to face the optimum direction for your installation placement AND cut the PVC air hose (scissors) to the correct length to join the cannister to the horn.
If the PVC air hose is too long, it WILL kink and you'll get less sound!

If you have ever worried about getting squashed by a truck that didn't see you, this is the best alternative for you!
I've paid more money for electric and compressed air storage horns only to find that when I needed to blast the horn in an emergency the batteries where flat or the stored air had leaked away.
For your own safety, GET ONE!
