Pros: plug and play. It converts your HDMI signal without problems, and in all the machines I've used to test it, even a Chromebook, worked with zero issues.
Cons: The problem is it is so small you can misplace it.
Pros: Worked for my intended use, I have a old TV which only have VGA and a boxee box which have HDMI output and I only had to connect the cables and it worked strait away! Cons: nothing big but cannot fasten the screws from the VGA so it's a bit loose, but this have never affected the quality of...

Pros: It works very easily and very well. I've bought a cord that worked just once and then stopped, but this little thing keeps going. I used it to connect an old projector to my laptop. It's clear it would not tranfer sound, but only audio. Still if you've got good speakers, or you're your to a...

It's clear it would not tranfer sound, but only audio. Still if you've got good speakers, or you're connecting your computer to a sound system it will be awesome. A lot of Game of Thrones was seen with this little thing. :0) Cons: Build is a little cheap, but what do you expect? An alternative in a store cost over 25$. It works well (and to be honest it fell a few times and still functions just fine).

Pro's: Small, Converts perfectly! Con's: could be a little bit longer, so the VGA connector fits next to an already plugged-in VGA connector. Definately a good buy if you want a small and reliable hdmi-to-vga adapter.
Pros: I bought that adapter to work with my netbook which has HDMI out but not VGA out. I also have a portable projector that happens to take VGA in. Problem solved! Worked flawlessly up to 1920x1080p and 1600x1200 (on two different monitors) and 1024x768 on a projector. No signal distortion or a...

Worked flawlessly up to 1920x1080p and 1600x1200 (on two different monitors) and 1024x768 on a projector. No signal distortion or color bleed problems. Easily 1/10th of the price paid in electronic store. Con: It's a dongle, not a cable adapter, so careful not to break it when it's plugged in (you could knock-out the laptop or break the HDMI port in the process too!) Bottom line: A very practical gadget to keep in your IT toolbox or road warrior kit.
