not to many modes, does what it claims the flicker on low mode is not bad compared to some drivers probably very inefficient, gets very hot (burnt through insulation tape) probably needs heatsinking.

now dead. it was powering an xp-g triple in my diy bike light and I think the reason it died was it burnt through the insulation tape and then shorted on the aluminium housing. if you just need a driver that works and don't much care for efficiency get this, make sure you heat-sink it somehow

This driver has wide range voltage for you from 5v to 12v power supply.

I have connect this driver with 3 used cree emitter from flashlight for decoration project from 2 pc. 18650 power souce.
Buy 3 at once even for lower price. The strobe mode that I didn't care about much.
Brought 3 of this driver, the first driver use it about a month became defect, lost the high mode. A little hot on the top smallest part.
Didn't has memory function. Will change to next mode when you switch on again. ( When you switch off at high mode, next turn on will be at low mode. ) I wish it has High, Med. and Low mode instead of the High, Med and Strobe. Good decent driver for 3 emitter up to 12v power.

This is a wonderful boost circuit to drive three LED's from a 7.2V source (6 Nixx or 2 Li-ion). It has three modes: high, low, and fast strobe. Low mode current is about 25% of the high mode current, and it doesn't flicker. Strobe is very fast, I'm guessing 4 to 5 flashes per second. It has good...

Low mode current is about 25% of the high mode current, and it doesn't flicker. Strobe is very fast, I'm guessing 4 to 5 flashes per second. It has good efficiency for a boost circuit. Here are my measurements on high: Vin=7.1V Iin=1.6A Vout=11.2V Iout=0.84A Efficiency=83% It's taller than most drivers, but you can move the boards together. I squeezed it down to 11mm height. Mine arrived with a portion of the inductor top cracked off, but it works just fine. My measurements actually agree with DX's posted specs. This is a pleasant surprise. I am using this with the tri-led housing sku 15084 and three Seoul P4 LED's. My plan is to use it as a bike light. This is the driver to get for your 3-LED projects powered by 7.2V batteries!

Good driver for 3 Cree L.E.D. project or upgrade. Gives good light on high mode, low mode also has decent light. I just don't use the third mode, which is Strobe. Whole thing was using window glue, glue it on a wooden board sample for decoration. The driver did not has memory function. Every time turn on, goes to the next mode. It will be convinenience with the memory, every time turn on, stay on the same brightness. It is fun and get experience for D.I.Y. project. I might get more if DX offer this with the memory function.
