Estuve buscando algo parecido y costaba almenos 5 veces lo que me constó este, ademas funciona a la perfección, quiza con baterias según caiga la entrada caerá la salida, pero con cambio de tensiones continuas funcian genial :)
Pros: Small, cheap, pretty easy to use. High quality Sanyo capacitors. PCB quality is a above the average. Works well as motorized paraglider onboard PSU for SimpleX intercom system by RCMLabs. Rejects any noise coming from engine ignition.
Pros: small size, very cheap, very precise and stable. Cons: none whatsoever, especially at this price! No pins available, but it has holes in the contact pads. Also, soldering on these pads should be easy.

If you're going to do your own diy electronics projects, and you need a voltage regulating power supply, don't look any further. This PCB is very cheap, reliable and most important of all (for me): very breadboard friendly. It fits like a charm in a mini-breadboard, and you can keep it in place with pinheaders (see attached image). Voltage can be regulated easily, make sure you have a multimeter to measure the output voltage.
This PCB is very much recommended if you're using an Arduino Nano/Pro Mini, doing projects that use batteries, or other projects that need a reliable power supply. It can deliver up to 3 ampére, so I doubt you'll run into any limitations when doing low power electronics projects. I've bought five of those at once and I'm very happy with them, especially if you take the low price into account, for me it's even cheaper than sourcing all the components seperately.
Small, Easy to use, Cheap, Stable. All these words are applicable for this device. You can not build it better or cheaper yourself. I use it to regulated 18V DC down to 7V DC input for my Arduino Uno.
Solder pads are easy to reach. Potmeter is well positioned for adjusting.
