2. Ease of Installation
3. Ease of Use
4. Flexibility (in where and how to use it)
5. Ring quality (clarity and volume)
1. Build quality, while exceptional for the price, not up to par with major brands.
2. Plastic parts subject to wear and tear.
3. Package came in dented and partially smashed, but contents were undamaged.
Very simple to install, very easy to place. (Owners with handbrakes and other handle bar levers should keep in mind where they are going to mount the hardware, before purchasing anything that mounts on the handlebar.) The bell is just loud enough to get the attention of pedestrians and other bikers. It worked very well until my son took it apart. When I reassembled it, it still worked okay - but not quite as good as the original. It worked satisfactorily until my son crashed his bike into a telephone pole. He survived with only a few scrapes and bruises. The bell didn't.
A good buy for the price, good enough that I bought another.
