It's the replacement part you need, at way less than anyone else will sell it to you for.
I couldn't tell the difference once I finished installing it.
You do need some technical skill to do the replacement
As has been said, the back doesn't have the same padding as the original. I peeled the old padding off (it ripped in a few places, but whatever) and stuck it on the replacement, and my brother (whose DSL it is) hasn't had any problems. (Electrical tape probably would have worked well too)
The first one I got had three big stripes of dead pixels through it, which was disappointing. But DX has a super-awesome RMA system, and they sent me a new one without making me box up the old one.
In case you didn't know already, you'll need a trigram screwdriver to open the case; DX sells those too.
If your screen is broken, and you've watched the videos on how to replace the screen and think you can do it, DX is totally making it worth your time with this part.
