  • for actual coax

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

*** Designed for actual coax or thick audio cable
*** Insulator looks like a Teflon did not melt
*** Look real net when on the pluged in to the device
*** The connector style is of a good style and if soldered well should provide a superior signal path

--- there is no plastic insulator sleeves you must make a good connection and make it 100% correct, this could be a unforgiving connector for the novice
--- the centre conductor need a lot of heat and a fine tip to solder the core of the centre got way hot, nothing melted so not really a con.
--- The cable needs to be quite thick, just aesthetics

Is it gold or something else who knows I have had some expensive connectors go green with corrosion and they where supposed to be gold, and some old cheep ones that have not corroded Time will tell

Ok I am seriously thinking of buying heaps of them to re do some of the connectors that have corroded up also to have a stock pile for those little projects that pop up from time to time...
