    Pros:

    cheap; functional.

    Cons:

    strange.

    OtherThoughts:

this says it's 5.25mm (about 1/5 inch), but it actually perfectly fits a 1/4 inch two-conductor phono jack (such as used by electric guitar). However, it's not really wired correctly for that use. It appears that this is supposed to take a 1/4 inch THREE conductor jack, and to wire it directly to the equivalent 3 conductors on the 3.25mm jack. But does a 3 conductor 1/4 inch jack even exist? Never seen one. If you put a two conductor 1/4 jack into this, it connects the tip to the tip, and the sleeve to the sleeve and ring. This might work in some applications, but it won't work in every application.

    Bottomline:

If you're planning to plug a two-conductor jack into this thing, be prepared for it maybe not work the way you intend.
