Tested on a 40" LED LCD TV, with a Macbook Pro 13.3" Late 2009 The quality of the image (since its digital) its perfect, no flaws. You can use it to extend your macbook screen or to display movies and use your laptop as a Set top Box. It can easily transmit 1080P images without any delays.
No audio support, well, this is not fault of the cable but from the macbook that doesn't transmit it via Display Port because as it says, is a display port. Anyway it would have been nice if the adapter added itself a 3.5 jack input to supply that.
The audio thing is easily fixable by using the audio output of the Macbook and connect it to the tv through 3.5 jack male-male or the one your tv offers.
If you need it, buy it, its a great alternative to the original and it's cheaper.
