    These 40-pin female headers are good quality, good price and useful. I can split them using a retractable-blade knife. For example, if you need a 4-pin female header, you can use your retractable-blade knife on the pin 5. Obviously, you will lose 1 pin during the cut.

    good product and is very strong and durable. Sometimes it can be difficult to weld due to the small size of metal parts.     Female headers seem to be harder to find than male headers. These seem to be similar in style to headers on an Arduino and should work for jumper wires or single in line male header connections. none Will probably cut them down to shorter lengths as needed for making shields for Arduino projects....
