Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month
The meter has all the stuff you need with the temperature probe as a real bonus. It uses AA bateries which is handy because, most of the time you have couple of spare laying around, which you ca't say of the 9 volt type normaly used.
The meter has a build in stand so you can place it upright for easy measurement.
I compared it to my last month calibrated Fluke 177 true rms meter and it's a litle bit off:
Fluke 17: 5,04 volt
Fluke 177 5,020 volt (it has a digit more)
There is no backlight.
If you need one buy it.
They should have added backlight.
Clean the metal of the probes before you use them, they didn't make good contact in continuity test before I did so.
If you want a nice multimeter from a good brand get this. Can't understand why Fluke doesn't sell these in Europe, so people can get a decent meter for a nice price.
