definetly unique, dont see anyone else with a purple laser. The Dot turns into other colors depending what color material your pointing it on. for example on white it turns bright blue and on pink the dot turns pink too. It's not very bright and it needs to be dark and/or smoky before u see the beam. altough if you point it towards yourself the purple ... Read more
its Very clean and the beam seems to go forever at night, its a nice violet beam, that changes colors when on the right surface. battery jiggles a bit its an amazing laser overall Five stars!!!
the laser is very bright and when you shine it on a reflective white surface the beam turns blue, and when shone on a neon color (example yellow) it shines very ... Read more
Functional and practical; the spot doesn't look terribly bright at first - then you shine it on something that will fluoresce and WOW! Don't underestimate this pointer just because human eyes aren't terribly sensitive to this wavelength. Given that it's in the same housing as many other laser pointers and there are who knows how many of these laser ... Read more
It is bright laser. At night you can see the spot on places up to 100m and if you look really closely you can even see the ray leaving the laser. It is not as bright as a green laser. But this is expected since the human eye is naturally more sensitivy for the green color. Also, as other comments stated, the dot is large. At short distances this is ... Read more
Purple Laser. Works. Fair price. Comes with batteries. The threads on the body are not very good. It is very easy to cross thread when you assemble. The threads also seem to be slightly crooked, making the body halves not concentric. Not a big problem. The dot isn't really precise. It's slightly scattered, but it still does its job. This may not have ... Read more
It's a good pointer, with an very powerful light. It's very nice, because of the point with a blue color, that's not common for LASER pointers. Another good point is that it works with two AAA batteries, and it work with the rechargeable ones that I already have. It's very good for presentations, as it have the format of a pen, that make it easy to ... Read more
Wow, just wow. This laser, for just 5 mW, is a very bright laser. It's beaten a red laser of the same strength I have. The beam is visible if it's not too bright around you. The dot changes colour, depending on what you point it at. The batteries rattle a bit when you move the laser around a bit fast, but, it's a laser pointer, so no need to shake it ... Read more
Bright blue/purple point. Takes standard AAA batteries so they are easy to replace and lasts quite long. Focus isn't great. There is no "safety" for the breaker so get some pressure on it and you could waste the batteries in the laptop bag. The light probably contains UV light, some surfaces are strongly boosts the reflection compared to an ... Read more
The unusual color of this laser definitely grabs attention in meetings. It's quite bright and is easily visible on projector displays. The purple beam is visible in a dark room. The collimation on the beam isn't quite as nice as the very similar green laser I own, but it's still good. This laser is closer to long-wave UV than it is blue. However, when ... Read more
The purple wavelength 405 nm is exciting, many friends had never seen anything like it. And it is powerful, the page says it is 5 mW, the pointer itself reads "< 5 mW max", but measured it at 30 mW in optical laboratory. Since wavelength 405 nm is quite at the limit of human eye's sensitivity, the laser doesn't look as bright as it really ... Read more
