Pros: Mine is quite well calibrated and the beam stays parallel for a long distance. Great on a misty night. If you use it for presentations, it produces a great glow on a whiteboard, even with the light on. Also it is fun to see the color change when you point it at different surfaces. Cons: It... Pros: Only PRO is the price Cons: the beam is very weak, besides that it is not well focused. It gives more a spot with a halo rather than a dot. Compared it with similar DX green pen laser and a red laser pointer in darkness and daylight. Summary: think before you order this particular model

I really like this laser for the effect. The bounced light is just like a black light and when you hit certain colors (try neon colors!) you can get very powerful effects. Fun to shine through liquids. The range however is poor. At around 15m the dot is already 20 or 30 cm in diameter aka It's on... Read more

Projects a purplish laser pointer dot — the effect is reminiscent of a tiny, focused "black light". During presentations, it's bright enough to be seen with the house lights up, particularly when pointing on a bright white, mat surface (like a "slide show" or projected movie screen). Unlike green... Read more

Pros: Strong laser pen, nice color, works well. Cons: Battery's don't last very long, button to turn on becomes weak after awhile.

definetly unique, dont see anyone else with a purple laser. The Dot turns into other colors depending what color material your pointing it on. for example on white it turns bright blue and on pink the dot turns pink too. It's not very bright and it needs to be dark and/or smoky before u see the a... Read more

Functional and practical; the spot doesn't look terribly bright at first - then you shine it on something that will fluoresce and WOW! Don't underestimate this pointer just because human eyes aren't terribly sensitive to this wavelength. Given that it's in the same housing as many other laser and... Read more

It is bright laser. At night you can see the spot on places up to 100m and if you look really closely you can even see the ray leaving the laser. It is not as bright as a green laser. But this is expected since the human eye is naturally more sensitivy for the green color. Also, as other comments... Read more
