  • good blade - bad grip

    Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month


    It is realy sharp, for soft vegetables like tomatos, cucumbers, aubergines etc perfect. Slicing up Onions into cubes was a dream.


    The tip was broken and the blade had several gashs after my girlfriend tried to cut a pumpkin with it. I was not there could be also that she left it fall. Also i do not see any advantage in sharping the blade up to the grip. The grip gets a bit slipery and should be a bit thicker near the blade. I cutted myself quite often.


    Maybe i just have too big hands for this.


    This is a quite good blade for making salads for someone with kitchen experience. The grip is not perfect but for the price i would not ask for more. There are better ceramic knifes in DX available, i ordered now several black ones with functional blades.
