  • Small wireless low-ranged mouse

    posted by sbofh on 02/10/2010

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Small. Wireless.

    In overview:
    - Wireless range: 1 meter
Real range - about 40-50 cm, so if you will try to connect the dongle to the rear motherboard USB connector, you will be unable to use the mouse - it will be out of range.
To get it working you have to install the batteries only after installing the wireless dongle, otherwise the mouse will not work. I had changed the batteries with new duracell, but the range still remained poor.
Branded wireless 2.4 GHz mice, I always used before, such as TEAC, have 10m range.

    In overview - 2.4 GHz, in manual - 27MHz.

Regular wired mouse's range is bigger.
