Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
It's my second EDC flash-light from DX (first one died). This time I wanted single mode flash - previous one (4 mode) started to act weird after 2 years of use. This is very sturdy construction, with everything you could expect from EDC flash.
First of all it's not regulated flash, or it's DX type regulated ;) (just limited max current). Light beam is decreasing almost linearly depending on battery health. So I could expect that - but... Some of my AA NiMh batteries are a bit too long, can't screw flashlight completely - otherwise it will stop working (Eneloops are ok). Interesting thing is that it interferes with my bike wireless "computer" Sigma BC1909 - I'll write more in posts.
It could have some fluorescence parts (like rubber switch).
It's one of the bests AA flash-light for EDC use. Strong light, well build. Only lacks regulation - but I'm not sure if any on DX is really regulated....
