They are cheap but you get what you pay for. If you want focused light, then they are good. If you use multiple LEDs you could probably get a decent ammount of light.
Light is a little bit greenish and there are some black spots.
Still no information about LED specs, need specs! Its easy to kill a LED using too high voltage. Tried AC/DC adaptor that gave out 5,5V and LED used current 130mA, 30 seconds and LED is basically dead. @3,7V it pulled 60mA and seems to work OK.
It would be nice if DX sold more powerful white LEDs like 0,5W 5 chip ones.
