This cable really outperforms the original stock cable I had. It supports Audio through HDMI!!! (i got rid of my 2.5mm jack to RCA cable !!) I'm so happy to get rid of 1 cable behind the TV
Actually when i plugged this into my CPU (I use this for HTPC - Home Theater PC) and the other end to the LCD TV, I thought the cable was faulty or I had blown my TV speakers (No sound). Got me panicking for a while. Its that Windows 7 dosen't route audio out through HDMI by default. The TV detected the audio channel and switched to it by default, but win 7 didn't send the audio out. You just need to enable the default audio device to send it out via the HDMI cable in control panel / audio
Get it ... HDMI with audio. Get as short length cable as possible for maximum signal quality!
