    It's USB 3.0; and 2 ports even! Drivers work on most 32 and 64 bit windows; XP and later, including server 2008 and 2003.     price, it works without doing anything with Ubuntu 11.04, but you have to boot with the card connected to be launched by the system. none At first I thought the linux kernel did not support the card since the hot-pluggable, but after a reboot with it connected to the system recognized the device...     It works as USB 3.0 I/F through the express 34 interface. It is able to power USB flash drive and 1.8" USB 2.0 poertable HDD but unable to power a 2.5" poerable USB 3.0 HDD It cannot power a 2.5" potable USB 3.0 HDD even with the extra power inserted via additional cable - the HDD... Read more
