Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month
Pros:
THEY REALLY DO LOOK NICE. they add a little flair to your bike. I have had them only about 200 miles so far and they seem fine. I think I will try to buy another pair before they run out.
Cons:
because they are rather long pads, I think some of the pressure you put towards the end of the pad is not getting there, whichreally isn't such a big deal but it promotes dust from getting bettwen the pad and rim vrs being wiped away in the begining. not a big deal though.
OtherThoughts:
We know theses are not highend and dont belong on your $3000usd carbon bike with sram red setup, because you wouldnt dare put a $5 set of breaks on that?! but that would be a shame not to just change your breaks every 3000 miles like I do because most breaksdry out rather quickly anyway and these are a good, cheep replacement.
Bottomline:
there so cheep you could replace them each season and always have fresh pads
