It's pretty cheap, and does the job. The square thing you see below is basically an adaptor. With it, this bracket mounts on a standard tripod or lightstand. Without it, it's a much bigger hole and (I think) it mounts on to the bigger lightstands or something.
The build quality isn't very good. The ball joint is difficult to move around even after loosening the screw (haven't tried applying lubricant), but you can get the hang of it. The threading isn't completely straight. After mounting, it ended up looking slightly slanted. Thankfully it's a ball-joint. The umbrella screw is small, so it will dent the umbrella handle even though you try not to put alot of pressure on it.
The black part on top where the flash is slotted in can be unscrewed to reveal a standard tripod screw which you can then use to mount wireless triggers, or anything you like.
This bracket is very usable if you're on a budget, and it gets the job done. It just doesn't feel that good.
