    This stuff and hardy and waterproof! It's better than gas lighters in that sense and will even burn wet tissues or firewood. You will need to scrap alot of it off the magnesium bar though. Read more

    Just work as advertised, Very easy to create fire using this magnesium stick, The fire sparkle work fine, Now I don't have to always bring my torch lighter with me on camping.     It creates a VERY large and hot spark, so it's sure to work well for you. The quality is the same as if you were to buy it at your local outdoor store for twice the price.     Efficient. Reliable. Long-lasting. Isn't affected by water at all. A valid item for showing off as an experienced survivalist when you aren't one. Takes several minutes to start a fire.     Product has no flaws or gimmicks. Comes with a striking tool so you don't have to dull your knife. Small enough to put in any survival/disaster kit. As others have said, the sparking rod seems like it could wear out before the magnesium part; but the magnesium will still be useful - as long as you can ... Read more

    easy of use good quality magnesium helps to start fire even in wet conditions no need to search easy flammable materials, magnesium can directly ignite small sized wooden branches superb price - 7.4$ at DX and 25$ in local UA market no really at all, maybe fire sparkle could be a little bigger also it ...
