  • Good, reasonably accurate scale

Quite impressive for the price. Not only is it fairly accurate but also can display weight in several different formats. Using a reference calibration weight of 2000g, the little scale was off by 8g. Thus an error rate of 0.4%, not bad at all for such a cheap item. Tares (sets to zero) rather quickly, which is not always the case with very expensive scales.

Build quality is rather flimsy. The little drawer containing the buttons slides out with spring loaded action, it seems rather fragile. The stainless steel platter was crooked on mine. I don't think it is really accurate to within 0.1g, but expected at this price.

Recommended for occasional use. Probably wouldn't withstand heavy daily usage but otherwise fine.

A no brainer at this price. Unobtrusive and practical. I would have to pay at least twice locally for something probably less accurate.
